Karnataka planters seek Rs 50 lakh compensation for human-wildlife conflict deaths

Agricultural planters in Karnataka demanded fifty lakh rupees in compensation for fatalities caused by human-wildlife encounters. The request was submitted following incidents of deadly interactions between people and animals in the region.
