Editorial policy

Sources

Every news and legal item links to its original source: a court, a government body, the Animal Welfare Board of India, or a news publisher. We do not publish items we cannot trace to a source.

How summaries are written

We use automated tools, including AI models, to find new items and draft short summaries. Each draft must pass rules in our software: two to three sentences, plain facts, and no long quotations. A person then reviews every item before it is published.

Legal information is not legal advice

Library summaries help you follow developments. They are not legal advice. Always read the original order or notification, and consult a lawyer before acting on it.

Directory listings

Listings marked “Verified” have been checked with the organisation. Others are shown as unverified until they are checked, and we ask organisations to re-confirm their details regularly.

Corrections

If something we published is wrong or out of date, please tell us. We correct errors promptly and note significant corrections on the item.
