Respected Sirs and Madam,

As a concerned and law abiding citizen I am deeply dismayed by the order of the respected Court passed on 07.11.2025 in the ongoing community animals matter,

I wish to respectfully submit that the Order passed is,

(i) Unjust, as it has been passed without hearing the parties;

(ii) Unfair, as it requires animal activists to deposit a fee when there is no provision for the same;

(iii) Unscientific, as it does not follow the scientific and WHO endorsed method of capture, vaccinate, sterilize, and release of animals to their original place;

(iv) Inconsistent with law, being in direct violation of Animal Birth Control Rules, 2023 / Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 which is the law of the land as also upheld previously by the Hon'ble Supreme Court as well;

(v) Unsustainable, because we do not have the resources, infrastructure or manpower to house lakhs of animals on a lifelong basis and provide for their food, lodging, veterinary care; we will be spending lakhs of crores of rupees on the same which we do not have. The half-hearted implementation typical of authorities, is merely a death warrant for animals;

(vii) Unbalanced, the order talks of effects not the causes. It does not factor issues concerning animal cruelty, feeder violence, standards of media reporting, unregulated breeding and abandonment and unscientific waste management, all essential pieces of the solution puzzle.

These are only some of the problems which I see as a lay person.

Most importantly, I do not want to see my country artificially divided between animal welfare and human welfare when both interests are complementary, not conflicting. A compassionate, scientific and humanely driven approach is the solution, not exclusion, not experimentation and certainly not exile.

Thus, it is my respectful request that the Court may stay the order passed on 07.11.2025 and the respected Court may reconsider, recall and review the same.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely,
