Mumbai: BMC Plans Shelters For Stray Dogs From Sensitive Locations Under ₹13.35-Crore Proposal

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has proposed constructing shelters for stray dogs that are currently kept in sensitive areas of the city. The plan, announced on 5 October 2026, sets aside about ₹13.35 crore for the project. The shelters will be built in Mumbai.
