A prospective study on the safety and clinical effectiveness of rabies monoclonal antibodies for post exposure prophylaxis in suspected rabies exposures at the anti-rabies clinic of KIMS Hospital and Research Centre, Bangalore.

A study at KIMS Hospital in Bangalore examined the safety and effectiveness of rabies monoclonal antibodies (RmAbs) for post-exposure treatment in 475 animal bite victims. Participants were monitored for adverse events and clinical outcomes after treatment, with mild side effects reported that resolved without complications. All individuals remained alive six months post-treatment, indicating the RmAbs were effective in preventing rabies.
