A retrospective study at a tertiary care hospital in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, examined 850 animal bite cases between April and September 2023. The majority of patients were males aged 21-30 years, and most experienced Category II exposure. Only 44.8% completed the four-dose rabies vaccination regimen, highlighting a significant dropout rate after the third dose.
