A study conducted at a tertiary care anti-rabies clinic in Bengaluru, India, from October 2021 to December 2022, examined post-exposure prophylaxis compliance among 735 animal bite victims. While 80.4% completed the full five-dose anti-rabies vaccination schedule, compliance decreased with each successive dose. Main reasons for not completing the vaccinations included negligence, work or school scheduling issues, and long travel distances.
