Effectiveness of rabies immunoglobulins and monoclonal antibodies infiltrated into animal bite wounds after dilution: Real-world evidence from an anti-rabies clinic in India.

Effectiveness of rabies immunoglobulins and monoclonal antibodies infiltrated into animal bite wounds after dilution: Real-world evidence from an anti-rabies clinic in India.

A study conducted at an Anti-Rabies Clinic in Bengaluru, India, analyzed 223 animal bite cases between January 2022 and December 2024. It reviewed the dilution ratios of rabies immunoglobulins and monoclonal antibodies used for wound infiltration and found that all patients survived without any rabies cases reported during follow-ups. The findings support the effectiveness of diluted treatments for preventing rabies in severe bite cases.
