A study analyzed 300 comments from six Indian YouTube videos about rabies to understand public perceptions and emotional experiences related to dog bites. The analysis identified themes of anxiety surrounding rabies exposure, including fear of death, medical reassurance seeking, and behavioural changes, indicating a substantial psychological impact. Many comments reflected ongoing distress and uncertainty about the adequacy of vaccinations and the safety of free-roaming dogs.
