AI technology was implemented in West Bengal, India, to reduce human-elephant conflict. An AI camera system detected elephants and sent real-time alerts to field personnel, resulting in quick response times. During the deployment, there were no fatalities or serious injuries from elephant encounters, supporting the effectiveness of this approach.
