- Pages visited and time spent
- Downloads of templates or resources
- Date and time of access

- Details you send us by email, such as a directory listing or a legal update
- Your name and contact details, if you include them
- If you sign up to volunteer: your name, email, optional phone number, state, city and the kinds of help you offer, with the date you gave consent
What we do not collect
We do not intentionally collect Aadhaar numbers, financial information, biometric data, health data, or political affiliation details beyond general civic participation.
2. How we use it
- To run and improve the Website and understand how it is used
- To respond to you and to add or correct directory listings and legal updates
- To prepare aggregate, anonymised statistics about public engagement
Volunteer details are used only to contact you about volunteering. Only Animal Writes administrators can see them. We keep them until you ask us to delete them or withdraw consent.
We do not sell personal data or use it for commercial purposes.
3. Analytics and cookies
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how the Website is used. These services set cookies and process data such as pages visited and approximate location under Google’s own privacy policy.
4. Third-party services
The Website uses analytics, hosting and security services, and links to messaging platforms such as WhatsApp. Each is governed by its own privacy policy, and we are not responsible for their practices.

By using the Website or sending us information, you consent to the processing described here. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
