Three Gujarat gaushalas recognised by AWBI receive zero financial assistance

On August 15, 2026 it was reported that three gaushalas in Gujarat that are recognised by the Animal Welfare Board of India did not receive any financial assistance. The gaushalas were listed as eligible but received zero funding.
