On July 10 2026, the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Delhi Range of the Indian Forest Department carried out a joint operation that disrupted a wildlife‑trafficking network. The raid resulted in the rescue of 53 protected animals and birds and led to the arrest of six suspects.
