Cattle Transport Can’t Be Presumed To Be For Slaughter Due To Mere Absence Of Documents : Supreme Court

On 2 October 2026, the Supreme Court ruled that the mere lack of documents does not automatically mean that cattle being transported are destined for slaughter. The court held that transport of cattle cannot be presumed to be for slaughter solely on the basis of missing paperwork.
