Gujarat High Court Suggests Area-Wise Sterilisation, Vaccination & Geo-Tagging Of Stray Dogs

On August 4, 2026, the Gujarat High Court recommended that stray dogs be sterilised, vaccinated and fitted with geo‑tags on an area‑wise basis. The suggestion is intended to manage and monitor stray dog populations throughout the state.
