MCG warns pet owners of criminal action under BNS for dog attacks, negligence

The Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) has issued a warning that pet owners may face criminal prosecution under the BNS legislation if their dogs are involved in attacks or are found to be neglected. The notice was released on 25 June 2026.
