A study was conducted among 240 medical students at King George’s Medical University in Lucknow from May to July 2025 to assess their knowledge about rabies transmission, immunization, and wound management. The students demonstrated good understanding of rabies causation and wound washing, but had misconceptions regarding exposure categorization and vaccination protocols. The study highlights the need for improved education on rabies prevention and control in medical training.
