The road to rabies elimination in India by 2030: a review on the functionality of anti-rabies clinics in India

A review focused on Anti-Rabies Clinics (ARCs) in India aimed to evaluate their functionality and identify gaps to support the goal of eliminating rabies by 2030. The review analyzed research from 2010 to 2025 and found issues such as inadequate availability of rabies vaccines and immunoglobulins, untrained staff, and insufficient facilities for wound care. The findings suggest that although some ARCs implement effective practices, there are critical shortcomings that need to be addressed to meet the target.
